Artisanal Living through Thoughtful Design.
Creating structured, functional spaces that honor the intersection between memorable design and warm comfort.
Architecture is the quiet backdrop to your life.
We specialize in the meticulous creation of environments. From complete new builds to intimate interior renovations, our approach is defined by precision, materiality, and an unwavering commitment to the “Paperbark” ethos—resilience, texture, and natural beauty.
Our work draws inspiration from traditional Japanese and Chinese carpentry, where the joinery is hidden but the strength is felt in every corner of the structure.
Tracey Thomm
Founder
“A home should breathe. It should be a vessel for light and silence, where every material choice is intentional and every line serves a purpose.”
Tracey Thomm founded Paperbark Homes after a decade in corporate finance and private equity investing. After attending Harvard Business School, Tracey took her first real estate development job at Clark Realty Capital, now CRC Companies. During her tenure at CRC, Tracey has designed and built numerous award winning multi-family mixed-use developments all of the country. As a partner in the organization, she has overseen over $2 billion in construction and development projects.
Her philosophy blends the raw, tactile nature of construction management with a poetic sensibility for interior spaces. Tracey ensures that every project is not just a visual masterpiece, but a functional sanctuary designed to stand the test of time.
